Both June and August applications now available online
ABOUT US: Founded in 1992, Xela Aid, a non-profit,
non-denominational, humanitarian organization responds to requests
for assistance from the economically disadvantaged of Guatemala in
ways that restore health and well-being to the people and the
environment, promote cultural understanding, and preserve dignity.
A private charitable organization, Xela Aid receives no government
funding. Team members pay their own expenses and fund projects
by way of a project fee that each person contributes.
The good works of Xela Aid are made possible by the generous gifts
of ordinary people who wish to do extraordinary good for others -
people like you.
Applications for both Xela Aid's June and August summer
trips are now available. The two unique trips will feature
meaningful volunteer projects in San Martín Chiquito,
exciting opportunities for cultural exchange, language
study, travel to Xela, Attitlan, Antigua, Tikal and more.
And, most importantly, you will make a positive difference
in the lives of thousands
of people in need -- all during your summer vacation.
An overview of this year's projects appears below. The full
