In
2005, Xela Aid grew into "Xela Aid USA" and Xela Aid International",
each aimed at most efficiently administrating particular projects of
Xela Aid, as follows. The two organizations cooperate fully and are
linked through common leadership in the United States and Guatemala.
Because of efficiencies offered by St. Matthew Church and the
International Humanities Center [IHC], both branches of Xela Aid are
able to keep administrative overhead far below that of most
non-profit organizations, at just about 5 percent. This
means that of each dollar donated to Xela Aid, 95 cents goes
directly to medicines, supplies, electricity, salaries for medical
personnel and other in-country aid that serves the people directly.
Considering that many well-known non-profit organizations operate
with overhead from 20 percent to 80 percent, we are quite proud that we
are able to get so much of your donation directly to those who
need it most! |
