11-year-old Cristian is in 5th grade at the La Cumbre school, which he attends every morning. His favorite course is mathematics, especially addition, and when he grows up he dreams of being an accountant because it is a career that is very attractive to him now.

He is the fourth of five children and lives with his mother and siblings. His father left the family when Cristian was a child, and his mother supports the family by being a launderess and selling herbs that she grows at home. Cristian has a dog named Preciosa and two cats named Goliath and Roqui. In his free time, he loves playing ball with his cousins. Cristian enjoys having the opportunity to learn about new subjects and is a current participant of the Study Center Program at Xela Aid. He said that a scholarship would definitely change his life because it would help with the family expenses and give him the opportunity to pursue his dreams. He has good grades and is eager to continue studying for a professional qualification, but he does not have the financial resources to do so.
